Simplify’s Representative Payee Program is for individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or both. As an approved Organizational Payee through Social Security, Simplify is assigned to become involved when it has been determined that the beneficiaries are unable to manage their own funds and payments. The Social Security Administration (SSA) determines a monthly fee for this fee-for-service organizational program. Simplify follows the social security requirements for the monthly fee.

As a Representative Payee, Simplify will be responsible for making sure the individual’s basic needs are met. Food and shelter are primary concerns. Client funds are deposited with Simplify. From there, families and individuals are involved in the process of developing a budget and working through other financial decisions.
